The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LeBeau misses with a leg kick and Sturd Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. LeBeau misses with a hook. Sturd Jr ducked under it nicely. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sturd Jr, as that shot connected.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haze throws a nice looking combination but Griffiths bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Haze gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Griffiths. Griffiths ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haze moves away. Haze raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Griffiths ducks under a wild hook from Haze. Haze slips a straight right by Griffiths. Haze throws an off balance right hand
and Griffiths counters with a low kick, right behind Haze 's knee. Griffiths throws a body kick that misses. A big right from Haze misses. Griffiths takes a body punch but keeps moving. Griffiths tries to clinch up. Haze let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Haze tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jerry Haze seems to be getting the better of the standup. Haze tries to bum rush Griffiths with a series of wild strikes but Griffiths uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It looks like Griffiths has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Haze ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Griffiths moves away. Haze has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Griffiths. Haze lands a body shot.

Hooper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maraçon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Maraçon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hooper. Hooper will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seok listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Seok is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lord sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Seok has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A slow jab from Lord misses its intended target. Seok darts in looking for a takedown but Lord gets double underhooks and turns Seok into the cage. Lord throws out a counter right but Seok avoids it with no problem. Seok looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A big left from Lord misses. The fighters circling - Lord throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Seok uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lord. Seok throws a jab when Lord was well out of range. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Seok passes easily into side control. Nice work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Seok connects with a nice short shot to Lord's temple. Seok has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Seok is keen to just control but Lord is a slippery customer. Seok is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lord is just riding it out for now. Seok eventually gives up the hold. Seok seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
