The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grande checks a leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Hackleton as Grande shoots in. Grande connects with a high kick. Grande pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Hackleton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hackleton leaves Grande with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grande looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hackleton is fending him off so far but Grande persists. Nope, Hackleton circles away and we're back to standing. Frank Hackleton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariana Grande. Hackleton tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hackleton blocks a head kick by Grande.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grande tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hackleton defends well and Grande ends up having to push Hackleton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A lazy body kick from Grande and Hackleton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hackleton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grande is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hackleton scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Grande taking some punishment here, with Hackleton in his half guard. Hackleton has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Hackleton frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Grande in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Grande is rocked! Hackleton postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Grande in real trouble here! The ref calls for Grande to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin misses the jab. Steele's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Steele duly obliges. Rasputin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Rasputin clobbers Steele with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Steele has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rasputin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Steele tries to bum rush Rasputin with a series of wild strikes but Rasputin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rasputin misses with a straight right. Steele now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Rasputin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rasputin takes a swing at Steele's ribcage but misses. Steele throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It's knocked Steele out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Timofei Rasputin! In his post fight interview, Timofei Rasputin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spong. A little feinted left hand from Kingstar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kingstar gets caught napping as Spong dives in and scores a takedown. Kingstar manages to retain guard. Spong looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kingstar has Spong pulled in close to control his posture. Kingstar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spong on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingstar is trying to control the position but Spong postures up. Spong sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kingstar wants to stand up but Spong is controlling him. We've been hearing good reports from Kingstar's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Spong is keen to just control but Kingstar is a slippery customer. Kingstar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Spong is working away from the top position though. Spong has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kingstar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kingstar tries to improve his position but Spong has taken his back! Spong has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Kingstar tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Spong pushes Kingstar away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Jadman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Greyjoy is controlling him. Greyjoy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jadman's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jadman is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Greyjoy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Greyjoy has a couple of punches blocked by Jadman.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Jadman. Jadman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Greyjoy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jadman connects with a right hand. Greyjoy shakes it off. This has been an exciting period of action! Jadman jabs Greyjoy to the body, keeping him at a distance. Greyjoy avoids the body shot from Jadman.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jadman is still in real trouble! Can Greyjoy finish him? Greyjoy is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jadman is hurt! He's hurt bad - Greyjoy fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jadman from any more punishment! Congratulations to Greyjoy! Great finish!

Kawanabe has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Romanov lands a nice hook to Kawanabe's body. Kawanabe takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
