The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Silva. Siciliano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.

Silva let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Silva looks wobbly but gets back to his feet on the count of 5. The referee continues the count to 8 then steps aside to let these two guys get back at it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson checks a low kick from Petrescu. Wilson throws a hook but Petrescu blocks it. A big left from Petrescu misses. Wilson is looking to counter with a body kick. Both fighters circling a little - Wilson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Petrescu blocks a jab. Wilson looks to land a right hand but Petrescu moved out of range. Wilson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Petrescu's calf. Wilson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice uppercut there from Petrescu. A solid leg kick lands there for Wilson.

Petrescu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilson circles away quickly and effectively. Wilson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Petrescu throws a body shot but no joy. Wilson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Petrescu was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilson. Wilson misses with a body shot.
Petrescu wants to counter with a clinch but Wilson pushes him away. Petrescu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wilson momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sergiu Petrescu. I've got Petrescu winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Chamba tries to move into range but Von Ricther moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Von Ricther throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chamba sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chamba tried to score with a low kick but Von Ricther checks it. Von Ricther ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Von Ricther rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chamba moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Von Ricther swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A little feinted left hand from Chamba on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Von Ricther looks to throw the jab but Chamba is out of range. Chamba takes a body punch but keeps moving. Chamba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Von Ricther looks low and kicks high, catching Chamba right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Gilberto Chamba's cut is getting worse. Chamba fails to land with a series of punches.
Chamba does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Von Ricther cracks Chamba with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Chamba get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Chamba looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue! Oh Chamba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big right from Von Ricther misses. Chamba seems to have got his legs back now. Von Ricther connects with a leg kick. Chamba looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Von Ricther throws a jab when Chamba was well out of range. Lars Von Ricther seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chamba throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Von Ricther looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Von Ricther clips Chamba with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Chamba a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Gilberto Chamba's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Von Ricther throws an overhand right that has Chamba reeling! Von Ricther follows up with more punches and Chamba is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lars Von Ricther! After winning the bout, Lars Von Ricther thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
