The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yaqhar misses with a jab to the body
and Kirby connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A punch combination from Yaqhar misses. Alik Yaqhar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yaqhar misses with a takedown and Kirby connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Yaqhar throws a big shot that misses. Kirby's coach down at Island Safe Space was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kirby's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Yaqhar just misses with a punch to the body.

Woods smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seimens connects with a crisp jab. Seimens scores with a jab. Tucker acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tucker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Tucker wants to clinch and Seimens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Seimens throws a good cross that connects.
Seimens works the jab nicely. Tucker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Seimens looks to throw the jab but Tucker is out of range. Tucker feinted there with a counter leg kick. Tucker drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Seimens scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Seimens misses with a lunging right hand
and Tucker counters with a two punch combo. Tucker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Seimens's corner calls for a 1-2. Seimens obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker needs to keep his hands up - Seimens had a free shot at his head there. Tucker takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Seimens might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Seimens punishes Tucker's body with a nice straight punch. Seimens has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Seimens comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Tucker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jab, jab by Seimens - just one landing. Seimens ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tucker takes one on the button. Seimens scores with a jab. Tucker acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tucker takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Seimens lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Seimens blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tucker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Seimens fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tucker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Seimens is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tucker had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Seimens throws a good cross that connects.
Seimens scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Seimens scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tucker doesn't seem bothered though. Tucker goes for a double leg but Seimens avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Seimens continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Tucker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tucker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seimens digs a good body shot into Tucker's ribs. Tucker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A jab from Seimens does it's job there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good standup being displayed there by Seimens as he connects with a hook. Seimens jabs at Tucker's body. A jab from Seimens does it's job there. Seimens fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tucker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Seimens jabs Tucker right on the nose. Tucker blinks but takes it well. Tucker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Seimens lands with an overhand left. Seimens gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tucker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Seimens scores with a jab. Tucker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round. A jab lands there for Seimens. Tucker looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Tucker walks into a straight right hand from Seimens. Tucker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Seimens's guard. Tucker throws a big elbow that misses. Seimens is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tucker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tucker scoring with punches to the head and body. Tucker preventing the sweep. Tucker cracks Seimens with a solid left hand. Seimens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tucker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tucker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Seimens working for a triangle but Tucker defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Seimens is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ben Seimens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Seimens scores with a nice head shot. Seimens feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tuckers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tucker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Seimens. Seimens fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Tucker walks into a left hand. Tucker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Seimens connects with a looping right hand.
Seimens darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Oh Tucker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tucker instigates a clinch. Tucker seems to have got his legs back now. Seimens lands with a left to the head. Seimens makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Seimens works Tucker's body with a nice hook. Ben Seimens is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Seimens scores with a punch to the head.
