Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Chris Johntor (ranked 7477 p4p, 284 weight class) and Tyler Bikermann (ranked 21635 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bikermann's choice of entrance music: Metallica - St. Anger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Chris Johntor! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Tyler Bikermann! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bikermann. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Johntor (0) vs (4) Bikermann Bikermann tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Johntor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Johntor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bikermann on the ground. Bikermann is trying to get an arm triangle but Johntor is defending well. Johntor is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johntor won't allow Bikermann to pass to mount. Johntor is looking for a sweep. Bikermann is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bikermann content to control rather than advance.

Bikermann is stalling in the full guard. Bikermann trying to control the position from guard on top but Johntor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johntor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bikermann drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bikermann jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bikermann passes into half guard. Bikermann frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Johntor (0) vs (7) Bikermann Bikermann takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bikermann swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Machado darts in and clinches Buddha up against the cage. Machado is trying to trip Buddha. He has hold of a leg but Buddha is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Machado persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Machado seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Buddha has his foot on Machado's thigh. Buddha is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Machado has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Machado is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Buddha is looking to take a break and control but Machado is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Machado tries to get to full guard but Buddha has control of the leg. Buddha is keen to just control but Machado is a slippery customer. Buddha is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Machado is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
