Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Ragnar (ranked 949 p4p, 129 weight class) and John Rydeland (ranked 1009 p4p, 136 weight class). Ragnar comes to the cage accompanied by Shook Ones II. Rydeland comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Robbery - Not sneak attack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Bjorn Ragnar has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bjorn Ragnar seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Rydeland! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rydeland swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ragnar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rydeland throws out a loose jab but Ragnar uses good head movement to avoid it. Ragnar misses with an uppercut. Rydeland saw that one coming. Rydeland swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Rydeland misses with a left hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ragnar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rydeland manages to avoid it. A big left from Rydeland misses. A jab from Ragnar finds it's way through Rydeland's defenses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rydeland lands with a nice body punch. Ragnar moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dewey looks to score with a jab to the body but Pounds is just out of range. Dewey slips a straight right by Pounds. Pounds throws out a loose jab but Dewey uses good head movement to avoid it. Dewey tries a quick counter leg kick but Pounds is wise to it. Dewey clobbers Pounds with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Pounds looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dewey throws a head kick that misses. Pounds changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Pounds misses with a hook. Dewey misses with a body kick. Jab from Dewey. Good exchange - Dewey coming out on top. Pounds misses with an uppercut

Dewey's coach down at Outer Heaven Dojo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dewey's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters circling - Dewey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dewey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Dewey throws a quick inside leg kick. Pounds shoots in but Dewey avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pounds sets himself, and Dewey steps forward looking for the clinch! Pounds avoids it this time.

Deville looks up at the clock and then as Gloom takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Deville smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
