The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thompson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Thompson or perhaps it was just good defense by Motts, which made it look bad.

Motts throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thompson was covering up waiting for the punch and Motts finishes the takedown easily into guard.
