Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? No luck for Tom with that takedown attempt. Tom misses with a takedown attempt - Omega sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tom misses with a takedown attempt and Omega moves into the clinch. Chavez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Max shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chavez sprawls well. Chavez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Max gets slowly back to his feet. Chavez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Max sprawls and moves away. Chavez feints and as Max raises his hands in defense, Chavez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Chavez (2) vs (0) Max Chavez has gone for a leg lock! Max slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chavez's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Chavez (2) vs (2) Max Chavez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Max stacks Chavez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Max!
