Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barry Long! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Reigns! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long throws a lazy body kick and Reigns counters with a single leg into guard. Long didn't expect that. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Long is on top in guard.
Long trying to control but Reigns is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Long won't allow Reigns to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reigns wants to stand up but Long is controlling him. Reigns keeping moving, preventing Long from controlling successfully. Reigns seems keen to control Long's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Long trying to control the position from guard on top but Reigns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Long misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Long gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reigns to score an easy takedown into full guard. Reigns working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Long's head. Long looking for a guillotine here but Reigns defends easily.
Reigns trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Long manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Long stopping the sweep attempt from Reigns. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reigns looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Long puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Reigns striking from half guard on the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reigns wants to get back to his feet.
Reigns has a hand on Long's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Long takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Reigns working to try and regain half guard.
Long throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reigns tries to hold on but Long pushes him away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reigns can do anything to dispel that myth. Reigns is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Reigns wants to control but Long is having none of it. Long throwing strikes here but Reigns is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Long looking to control but Reigns is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Long throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barry Long dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Long wants to clinch up but Reigns keeps it at a distance. Long shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reigns defends it nicely. Long shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reigns sprawls well. Reigns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Long gets slowly back to his feet. Long looks for a takedown but Reigns sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Long. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reigns instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Reigns takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Reigns's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long pulls guard effortlessly. Reigns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Long swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barry Long overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reigns trying to pass the guard. Reigns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Long. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reigns trying to control from the bottom.
Long throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Reigns is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reigns is doing well to control the position and prevent Long from advancing to side control. Reigns wants to control but Long is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reigns strikes from the bottom but Long uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Reigns tries to buck Long off but Long is having none of it. Reigns bucks up and tries to throw Long off but instead Long has got his back! Reigns is trying to get back to his feet but Long has full control of the position and if anything, Reigns has just worked his way into a worse spot. Reigns preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Long. Reigns wants to get back to his feet. Reigns trying to control the hands but Long breaks the grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Reigns right now.
Long is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Reigns can do to turn this around? Reigns looking very determined here, making life difficult for Long.

Reigns just trying to survive but Long is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reigns might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Long haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Long is working for a rear naked choke. Reigns is not defending it well and Long has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Reigns refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Reigns's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Jones! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones catches Hogan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hogan shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hogan lands a couple of digs. Hogan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hogan looking to control the position here, rather than advance. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hogan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hogan landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogan stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones working a defensive guard but Hogan passes into half guard.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hogan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hogan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hogan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ground and pound from Hogan. Jones wants to control but Hogan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hogan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hogan connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple. Hogan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hogan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to get back to full guard. Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hogan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hogan's back! Jones is trying to stick to Hogan's back but Hogan is turning into Jones. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jones's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hogan. Hogan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hogan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hogan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones is trying to control the position but Hogan postures up. Hogan passes Jones's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hogan is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it. Hogan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hogan lands with a punch from half guard. Hogan content to control rather than advance. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hogan in particular looking to stall. Hogan lands strikes from half guard. Hogan is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jones trying to control but Hogan postures up.
Hogan slows the pace down in half guard. Hogan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Hogan stands and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jones tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Hogan easily slips into full mount! Hollywood Hogan dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hogan eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Hollywood Hogan has been cut. Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jones lands a jab to the nose. Jones drops Hogan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jones follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Jones! Eli Jones is the new heavyweight champion! Hollywood Hogan spoke after the fight, saying 'Hollywood will be back. (Walks away and kicks a few chairs and taunts the crowd on his way out)'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Max throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Ibrahim Camara has been cut. Camara stuffs the takedown. Camara connects with a single shot there. A looping hook to the body misses from Camara. Max does a little dance to reset his feet. Camara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Max manages to avoid it. Max thinks about countering with a body kick. Camara lands a nice shot that snaps Max's head back.
Max tries to clinch up letting Camara counter with a right hand. Max uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Camara.
Max throws a head kick but Camara moves out of range.
Max throws a front kick that sends Camara stumbling back into the cage. Max fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Camara has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Max throws a nice head kick!

Max is looking to land body kicks. Max moves out of range as Camara strikes. A shot to the liver by Camara. Beautiful body shot. Blaze Max seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Camara throws a jab when Max was well out of range. Max half committed to a counter leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camara throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Crunch! Max slams his shin into Camara's torso. Camara digs a good body shot into Max's ribs. Camara lands with a hook. Max tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Max bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Camara connects with a body shot that sends Max's belly button to the back. Camara blocks a head kick by Max.
Ibrahim Camara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Max misses with an attempted mid kick.
Camara throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Max on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Camara throws a jab but it's blocked by Max. Camara checks the leg kick. Camara cracks Max with an open hand slap. Max definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Max scores with a push kick. A head kick by Max misses and Camara counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Max thinking. Max avoids the body shot from Camara.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Max. That's going to slow Camara down. Max wants to land a leg kick but Camara is out of range. Camara works Max's body with a nice hook. Max is breathing heavily. Camara lands with a nice body punch. Camara's corner calls for a 1-2. Camara obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Camara is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Max rather than just go for the knockout. Max misses with a leg kick and Camara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Max is rocked! Camara cracks Max with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ibrahim Camara! Ibrahim Camara is the new super heavyweight champion! Ibrahim Camara tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. Blaze Max was interviewed post fight and said 'Not a G'day mate...'.
