The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brawn has closed the distance and engaged Gate in a clinch.

Brawn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Brawn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brawn cracks Gate with a solid left hand. Brawn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Brawn distracts Gate with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gate is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brawn has his hands clasped together but Gate extends and breaks Brawn's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gate.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wagner stuffs the takedown attempt from Mikson. Mikson gets slowly back to his feet. Mikson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wagner's guard. Mikson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wagner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Mikson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wagner swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wagner working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Mikson is trying to improve his position. Mikson struggling a bit here. Wagner trying to control the position but Mikson is working away. Wagner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mikson, who protects the arm well. Wagner is trying to get an arm triangle but Mikson is defending well.

Mikson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at GnP, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Mikson tries to buck Wagner off but Wagner is having none of it. Wagner is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mikson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mikson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wagner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Mikson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wagner is trying to get an arm triangle but Mikson is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mikson is trying to control Wagner's posture but Wagner avoids it. Wagner looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Wagner there. Wagner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mikson is just riding it out for now. Wagner eventually gives up the hold. Mikson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wagner maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mikson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wagner has cracked it and Mikson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wagner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puhkuri slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Marzio keeps the fight on the outside. Puhkuri fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marzio avoids it really well and circles away. Marzio getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Puhkuri throws a front kick that sends Marzio stumbling back into the cage. Puhkuri doesn't manage to clinch there - Marzio circles away.
Puhkuri scores with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marzio dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Marzio throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Puhkuri on the side of the head. Marzio has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A punch lands to the side of Puhkuri 's head but he takes it in his stride. Puhkuri fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Marzio wants to counter with a clinch but Puhkuri pushes him away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allu cracks a nice hook into Nakayama's ribs. Allu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Nakayama is looking to clinch but Allu is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zexi has had enough of the clinch but Combatant keeps him there for the moment. Combatant's coaches at Sydney Combat Method have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borrego throws a right hand that misses
and Shorton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Shorton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Borrego loads up on a big right hand but Shorton slips the punch. Borrego thuds his right hand into Shorton's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Borrego throws a lazy uppercut
and Shorton counters with a nice uppercut. Borrego throws a lazy right hand but Shorton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shorton doesn't manage to clinch there - Borrego circles away.
Shorton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Shorton is looking to counter punch. Shorton rushes Borrego and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shorton creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Borrego with a big uppercut! Borrego tries to clinch up but Shorton pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Borrego to the mat! Borrego covers up and Shorton unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilbach takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kilbach tests Hatton's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hatton on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kilbach cracks Hatton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Kilbach swings for the body but Hatton moves out of range.
Hatton attempts a counter takedown but Kilbach avoids it well and moves away. Kilbach's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hatton connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kilbach scrambles back to his feet. Kilbach displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hatton throws out the jab. Kilbach tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hatton was well out of range. Poor timing from Kilbach. Hatton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
