 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Changg misses with a kick to the body.

Splinter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Splinter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Changg. Splinter lands with a cross.
 It looks like Pedro Changg has been cut. Splinter attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Splinter lands with a straight right. Changg didn't see that one coming.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Martin with that takedown attempt.
Go gets a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Martin. Martin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Go avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Martin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Martin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Go is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Omise Go has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Martin. Go tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. and Martin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Go pushes Martin off looking to stand but Martin dives back in and keeps control.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Martin working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Martin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
 It looks like Omise Go has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martin winds up and cracks Go with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Martin wants to get back to his feet but Go drags him back down. Martin is looking to reverse the position. Go tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Martin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Go has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Go swings around for an armbar but Martin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Go's guard. Go is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Martin is controlling him. and Mikkonen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Malenko! Mikkonen lets Malenko back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
