The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simengwa lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Doss shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. The fight moves into the clinch position. Simengwa misses with a short punch on the inside. Simengwa fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Doss tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Simengwa working aggressively here.

Naing doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Win crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Win's bad books for that mishap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yeily misses with an uppercut. Harris saw that one coming. Yeily throws a body shot but no joy. Harris throws a lazy right hand but Yeily sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yeily misses with a looping right. Yeily throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Yeily throws a solid leg kick but Harris takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Yeily. A slow jab from Harris misses its intended target. Yeily throws a nice outside leg kick. Yeily throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Harris counters with a left to the body. Harris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yeily moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Harris fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Yeily throws a jab but it's blocked by Harris. Harris stuns Yeily with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Harris takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Yeily's coach down at Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yeily's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A looping hook to the body misses from Yeily. Harris does a little dance to reset his feet. Yeily lands with a nice body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris feints and then cracks Yeily's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yeily down. Yeily thuds his right hand into Harris's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A shot to the liver by Harris. Beautiful body shot. Yeily takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Yeily counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Harris misses the shot to the body. Yeily flicks out a counter leg kick but Harris steps away. Nice body punch from Harris. Harris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yeily only half commits to the counter leg kick. Yeily throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harris. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harris, as that shot connected.
Harris feints and then cracks Yeily's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yeily down. Yeily scoring well with a low kick there.
We've been told by Harris's head coaches at Dark Corner that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yeily fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Harris misses with a straight left. Yeily throws a shot from downtown. Harris moves away and avoids it. Harris listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yeily takes a body punch but keeps moving. Harris moves out of range of the body kick from Yeily.
Harris is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Yeily. Harris throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Yeily throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot. Yeily throws a low kick but Harris avoids it. Harris scores with a hook to the body. Yeily takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Yeily cracks a nice hook into Harris's ribs. Yeily misses the jab. Yeily throws a lazy body kick and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Harris misses with a double jab.

That was a close round but I would say that Derek Harris will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Harris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haller throws an off balance right hand

All the RESPECT to him and his manager!
