The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Watts avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Watts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and as Johnson resets, Watts pounces with a savage head kick that drops Johnson to the mat! Johnson looks wobbly but gets back to his feet on the count of 5. The referee continues the count to 8 then steps aside to let these two guys get back at it!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Watts feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johnsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tyce Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Watts paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Watts bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Johnson's head.
Johnson drops his guard momentarily, allowing Watts to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Johnson! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Watts takes it!
