These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ahma feints a counter leg kick. Wood looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wood takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ahma cracks a nice hook into Wood's ribs. Ahma uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Landon Wood has been cut. Wood stalks Ahma and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ahma's face. Ahma staggers backwards, shaken. Wood fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ahma swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ahma connects with a jab. Ahma scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ahma lands a nice hook to Wood's body. Wood takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ahma swats away the attempt to clinch by Wood.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wood misses with a head kick.
Verneri Ahma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ahma connects with a stiff jab that staggers Wood - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Verneri Ahma! Verneri Ahma tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riven throws a right hand that misses
and Santos counters with a stiff right hand. Riven throws a sloppy head kick and Santos moves out of range easily. Riven scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Riven wants to clinch and Santos counters with a single leg into guard. Riven didn't expect that. Santos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Santos drops back looking for a leg! Riven is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Riven manages to kick Santos off! Santos jumps back into Riven's guard. Riven knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground. Riven looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos is fighting to break Riven's control of his arms but Riven is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Santos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Riven seems keen to control Santos's posture. Santos is pushing down on Riven's leg trying to pass to half guard. Riven is fighting to maintain full guard but Santos has managed to sneak the leg through. Santos prevents Riven from standing back up.
Santos is figuring out what he wants to do next. Riven trying to hold on to Santos's head to control him but Santos postures up.
Riven is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Santos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Santos moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Riven. Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Riven knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Riven is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Santos's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Santos! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Riven has tapped! This one is allllll over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kondo. Mosi Kondo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kondo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Luis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kondo, right into the meat.
Kondo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Luis misses with a low kick.
Luis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kondo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Luis paws at him with a jab and circles away. Luis misses with a hook. Kondo is looking to score with low kicks. Luis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Luis throws a front kick aimed at Kondo's knee but Kondo avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Luis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kondo counters with a nice body shot. Kondo misses with a leg kick. Kondo punishes Luis's body with a nice straight punch. Kondo misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kondo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Luis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kondo slips a jab and a cross from Luis.
Kondo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Luis moves away. Luis goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kondo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kondo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Luis.
Kondo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Luis paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kondo scoring well with a low kick there.

Luis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nice defenses there by Luis. Kondo is looking to slow Luis down with leg kicks. Luis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kondo is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Luis rather than just go for the knockout. Kondo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Luis throws a counter high kick but Kondo was just alert enough to avoid it. Luis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kondo connects with a right hand. Luis shakes it off. Kondo moves away from the strike by Luis. Luis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kondo was well out of range. Poor timing from Luis. Kondo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Good leg kick by Kondo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kondo cracks a nice hook into Luis's ribs. Luis looks to score with a jab to the body but Kondo is just out of range. An inside leg kick lands from Kondo. Kondo works Luis's body with a nice hook. Kondo jabs Luis right on the nose. Luis blinks but takes it well. Kondo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Luis's hands. Kondo tests Luis's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kondo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Luis. Luis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Kondo as he connects with a hook. No joy there for Luis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Luis gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kondo. Kondo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Luis manages to avoid it. Kondo throws a nice looking combination but Luis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Luis was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kondo misses with a straight left. A nice inside leg kick there by Kondo. That's going to slow Luis down. Luis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kondo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Luis had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Kondo looks to score with a jab to the body but Luis is just out of range. Luis throwing a counter right hand but Kondo manages to avoid it. Kondo takes a kick to the side of the head. Good exchange - Kondo coming out on top. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Luis keeps the fight on the outside. Luis throwing a counter right hand but Kondo manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kondo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Luis moves away. Luis misses with a wild body shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Luis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Luis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kondo avoids the head kick by Luis.
Kondo tries to counter by closing the distance. A clash of legs there as Luis blocks the low kick. Kondo lands a body shot.
Luis misses the jab. Luis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kondo catches Luis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Luis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kondo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mosi Kondo dominated that round. That's time! Luis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kondo tries to clinch but Luis is having none of it. Luis was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kondo ducks under a wild hook from Luis. Luis takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Luis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kondo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kondo misses with a right hand and Luis counters with a leg kick. Some wild striking there from Kondo.

Kondo lands a body punch in the clinch. Kondo throws a head punch that misses. Kondo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Luis backwards. Kondo lands with a left to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Kondo.

Kondo lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kondo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Kondo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kondo struggles to land a body shot inside as Luis controls his hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kondo lands a hook that snaps the head of Luis backwards. Kondo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice left hand lands by Kondo.

Luis is rocked! Luis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A jab from Kondo finds it's way through Luis's defenses. Oh Luis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kondo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kondo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Luis seems to have got his legs back now. Kondo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Luis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kondo scores with a jab to the body. Kondo lands a left and a right that send Luis crashing to the mat, dazed. Kondo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Kondo throws a jab but it's blocked by Luis.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Luis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kondo. Kondo obviously looking to wear him down.
Luis misses with a lunging right hand
and Kondo scores with a counter punch that sends Luis to the canvas! Kondo smells blood - he's punishing Luis with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Luis has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mosi Kondo! After the fight, Mosi Kondo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

It connects and Stevenson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Harrow thuds his right hand into Stevenson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Stevenson throws the left hand but Harrow avoids the punch easily. Harrow scoring well with a low kick there.
Harrow jabs Stevenson right on the nose. Stevenson blinks but takes it well. Harrow cracks Stevenson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Stevenson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Harrow finish him?

That has opened up Bear Stevenson's cut even more. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harrow feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stevenson's calf. Harrow has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle -Apply Within in the buildup to the fight. Harrow drops Stevenson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stevenson! Harrow dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bann Harrow! Bann Harrow decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Dunlop throws a sloppy head kick and Smith Jr counters with a nice right hand that sends Dunlop toppling to the canvas! Dunlop scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Smith Jr finish him?!

Mick Dunlop's cut is getting worse. Smith Jr misses with a straight left. Smith Jr finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Smith Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dunlop. Dunlop throws a sloppy head kick and Smith Jr moves out of range easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dunlop pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Smith Jr drops Dunlop with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dunlop looks back up at him and smiles so Smith Jr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smith Jr cracks Dunlop with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Smith Jr has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dunlop to stand back up! Oh Dunlop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mick Dunlop's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Dunlop drops his hands momentarily. Smith Jr doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Dunlop staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Dunlop doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Putsok decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Putsok lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Putsok sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Whitaker defending well though. Putsok has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground.
