Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Dmitriev has chosen Sukh Knight - Diesel Not Petrol as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dmitriev waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Jones. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Jones to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Tom Jones has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dmitriev is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Dmitriev wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.

Dmitriev is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.

Dmitriev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dmitriev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dmitriev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!
Dmitriev gets his hands free as Jones looks to control.
Dmitriev throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Jones!
Jones rolls, trying to escape but Dmitriev keeps control of the position.

Dmitriev has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Jones rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Dmitriev advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jones is looking for a sweep. Dmitriev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dmitriev is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!
Dmitriev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Tom Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dmitriev thuds his right hand into Jones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Audet tries to close the distance and clinch but Hawkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hawkins lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Michael Audet has been cut.
Audet throws a head kick that misses.
Audet slips under a jab.
Audet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hawkins.
Audet moves in looking to clinch but Hawkins pushes him off.
Audet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hawkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Audet shoots in and drives through. Hawkins sprawls well.
Hawkins jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Audet closes the distance and clinches up with Hawkins, looking for a takedown. Audet pushes Hawkins against the cage but Hawkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hawkins swats away the attempt to clinch by Audet.

Hawkins cracks Audet with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hawkins has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Audet to stand back up!

Audet is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Audet switches off momentarily and Hawkins cracks him with a monster right hand! Audet topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Hawkins dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Hawkins!

Fonseca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jardine from any more punishment! Jardine complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
