Awsome has chosen Hail and Kill as his entrance music. Captian Awsome told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Mamikonyan throws a series of punches but Awsome avoids them all with ease.

Mamikonyan defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Awsome.

Awsome has control of Mamikonyan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mamikonyan regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Awsome looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Awsome is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mamikonyan has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mamikonyan!
Awsome is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mamikonyan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Awsome has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mamikonyan is looking to defend but Awsome has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mamikonyan! Awsome pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mamikonyan taps out and this one is all over!
