The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steve Jr thuds a left hand into Clark's body. Steve Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clark manages to avoid it. Clark throws a leg kick enabling Steve Jr to counter with a crisp jab. Clark misses the shot to the body. Clark takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Ramsey Clark has been cut. Clark throws the kick towards the body but Steve Jr avoids it. Steve Jr lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Steve Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Clark takes one on the button. Steve Jr throws a lazy right hand but Clark sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. As Steve Jr backs away, Clark returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Clark steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steve Jr. Clark lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Steve Jr cracks Clark with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Clark lands with a nice body kick. That was a close second round but I would say that Ramsey Clark will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ramsey Clark's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mukondo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Mukondo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mukondo duly obliges. Mukondo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mukondo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mukondo wants it to stay on the feet. Aldarov fails with a takedown attempt. Aldarov takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mukondo lands a body shot.
Mukondo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mukondo lands a jab to the nose. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aldarov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mukondo avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soslan Aldarov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mukondo digs a good body shot into Aldarov's ribs. Mukondo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Mukondo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aldarov on the side of the head.

Aldarov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mukondo's guard. Mukondo is trying to control the position but Aldarov postures up. Mukondo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Aldarov throws a big elbow that misses. Aldarov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Aldarov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mukondo can do anything to dispel that myth. Aldarov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Aldarov dives in for a single leg takedown but Mukondo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

A jab from Mukondo does it's job there. Aldarov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mukondo bucks up and tries to throw Aldarov off but instead Aldarov has got his back! Mukondo covering up well under a barage of strikes. Aldarov controls the position. Aldarov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Mukondo has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Aldarov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Mukondo taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Aldarov doesn't care though - he's delighted!
