The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fury throws a right and a left that Verhoeven avoids nicely. Fury scores with a hook.
It looks like Alistair Verhoeven has been cut. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Fury. Fury lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Verhoeven at a distance.
Fury throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fury scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Verhoeven to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Fury away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Verhoeven got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Verhoeven is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Verhoeven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fury.

Verhoeven seems to have got his legs back now. A slow jab from Fury misses its intended target. Fury ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Verhoeven moves away. Verhoeven is looking to score with low kicks. Verhoeven swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fury unleashes a big counter combination but Verhoeven bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Fury throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Verhoeven on the side of the head. A swing and a miss from Fury. Verhoeven swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Fury is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fury connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Verhoeven's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Verhoeven - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

McBarz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Johnson counters with a series of strikes. McBarz will be more careful next time no doubt. Johnson scores with a decent looking hook. Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
McBarz doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. McBarz tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It looked like Johnson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McBarz. A punch lands to the side of McBarz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bobby McBarz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson scores with a kick to the midsection. McBarz looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McBarz throws an off balance right hand
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand. McBarz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. McBarz takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Johnson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McBarz's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice jab there from Johnson. Johnson connects with a quick right hand that sends McBarz tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chlapik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stevens lands with a slapping head kick. Chlapik throws a body punch but Stevens moves out of range. Stevens goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Chlapik swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Stevens avoids the body shot from Chlapik.
Stevens misses with a body kick. DBrickashaw Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chlapik takes a jab right on the kisser.
Stevens fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chlapik has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Chlapik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stevens throws a hook to the side of Chlapik's head but Chlapik sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stevens jabs at Chlapik's body. Stevens has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Stark Combat Center in the buildup to the fight. Stevens uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chlapik. Chlapik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stevens sees it coming and avoids it easily. It looked like Stevens was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chlapik. Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch. Stevens forces Chlapik back against the ropes and clinches. Stevens lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. Chlapik told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chlapik is looking to break free of the clinch but Stevens has double underhooks. Stevens misses with the head strike.

A relieved looking DBrickashaw Stevens thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Jakub Chlapik was interviewed post fight and said 'HE'S ON STEROIDS! IM TELLIN YA HE IS!'.

He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Stricker raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Bobby wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Proudfeather has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Proudfeather takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driver throws a wild body kick that Chonus sees coming a mile off. Chonus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A combination from Chonus does no damage. Driver rushes Chonus and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Driver wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chonus has him pressed against the ropes. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Chonus obliges. Chonus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Driver stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero throws a series of strikes that have Gardenia backpedaling.
Gardenia stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Romero blocks a jab. Romero tries to clinch up but Gardenia circles away and keeps his distance. Gardenia now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Gardenia tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Romero is able to avoid easily. Gardenia pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Romero with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Romero is looking to slow Gardenia down with leg kicks. Romero swats away the attempt to clinch by Gardenia. Third Round Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gardenia manages to avoid it. Romero tries to clinch up but Gardenia circles away and keeps his distance. Romero throws an overhand right that lands on Gardenia's shoulder, as Gardenia tries to avoid the shot. Gardenia slips under a jab. Romero misses the shot to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Romero pushes Gardenia up against the ropes in a clinch. I was talking to Romero's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Romero lands with an uppercut that bounces Gardenia off the ropes and back into range. Romero is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Romero misses with a right hand and Gardenia counters with a left to the body. Romero tries to clinch up. Romero slips under a jab. Gardenia misses the shot to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Romero. Gardenia does a little dance to reset his feet. Romero lands with a cross. Romero connects with an inside leg kick. Romero catches Gardenia napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Gardenia crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Romero raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
