The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharinov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice defenses there by Kharinov.
Kharinov throws a series of strikes that have Pearson backpedaling.
Kharinov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kharinov throws a jab when Pearson was well out of range.
Pearson misses with a hook. Kharinov ducked under it nicely.

Pearson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pearson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kharinov cracks the inside of Pearson's front leg.
Pearson throws a looping overhand right but Kharinov ducks down to avoid it.
Kharinov lands with an overhand left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pearson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A lazy left from Kharinov finds it's target.
Kharinov is looking to land body kicks.
Pearson misses with a looping left.

Kharinov lands a jab to Pearson's midsection.
Kharinov throws a combination. Pearson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pearson looks gassed!
A nice leg kick lands there from Kharinov.
Kharinov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kharinov sizes up Pearson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kharinov scores with a kick to the midsection.
Pearson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pearson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice body kick from Kharinov.
Pearson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Pearson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kharinov connects with a solid leg kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kharinov! Pearson is out on his feet! Kharinov rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pearson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pearson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
