A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Stack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hishimoto Matsuko! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsuko gets a takedown into half guard. Stack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Matsuko sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stack defending well though. Stack makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stack. Matsuko stopping the sweep attempt from Stack. Stack trying to control the position.
Stack wants to sweep here but Matsuko controlling him for the moment. Matsuko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Matsuko tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsuko has knee on belly momentarily but Stack bucks him off and regains half guard. Stack tries to roll over but Matsuko keeps him under control. Stack trying to hold on to Matsuko's head to control him but Matsuko postures up.
Matsuko is looking for a kimura but Stack is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Matsuko to get the leverage. Stack is doing well to control the position and prevent Matsuko from advancing to side control. Stack is trying to stand.
Stack is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Matsuko trying to control the action but Stack is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stack takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Matsuko shoots in but Stack avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stack doesn't manage to clinch there - Matsuko circles away.
Stack scores a takedown into full mount! Stack wants to control the pace but Matsuko is squirming around nicely. Stack lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Stack lands a nice shot to the head. Stack controlling his opponent. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Stack trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stack lands a heavy elbow. Stack can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Matsuko is looking to escape. Stack controlling the pace for now. Matsuko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Matsuko keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stack has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Matsuko's face.

Stack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Matsuko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stack pinned against the cage. Stack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stack looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Matsuko! Matsuko tries to get back to half guard but can't. Matsuko bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Matsuko being controlled here momentarily. Stack is trying to control the position but Matsuko postures up. Matsuko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stack swivels though and keeps the full guard. Matsuko is breathing heavily. Matsuko preventing the sweep. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stack is working hard here to advance position. Matsuko passes Stack's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Stack tries to get to full guard but Matsuko has control of the leg. Matsuko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Matsuko. Stack regains full guard. Nicely done. Stack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Matsuko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matsuko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stack is on top in guard.
Stack is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Stack content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stack tries to free his leg and advance position but Matsuko is retaining full guard. Matsuko wants to sweep here but Stack controlling him for the moment. Matsuko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Matsuko shoots in and bounces Stack off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Stack keeping moving, preventing Matsuko from controlling successfully. Stack trying to keep a closed guard but Matsuko is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsuko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stack dives on top into guard. Stack trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Matsuko working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Stack has passed into half guard!
Still in half guard, Stack seems content to control. Matsuko tries to kick Stack off but Stack keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Stack moves nicely into side control. Matsuko is looking for a sweep. Stack controlling the position. You can see the frustration on Matsuko's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Stack dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Stack drives through and clinches with Matsuko against the ropes.

Dan Stack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Matsuko tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stack can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Matsuko is looking to escape. Stack is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Matsuko can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Matsuko wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stack controls the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stack lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Matsuko trying to control the position but Stack manages to sink in the hooks. Stack lands shots from the back.
It looks like Hishimoto Matsuko has been cut. Stack is not going to allow Matsuko to sit and survive in this position. Stack controlling the position well here. Matsuko rolled but Stack kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Matsuko manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stack's guard. Nice work there by Matsuko.
Stack wants to sweep here but Matsuko controlling him for the moment. Matsuko stands up from Stack's guard - Matsuko perhaps looking for a knockout.

Matsuko trying to control but he's not successful this time. Matsuko controlling from mount. Stack tries to lock up and control but Matsuko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Matsuko trying to control but he's not successful this time. Matsuko goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stack is on top in guard.

Stack looking to sit in guard and control but Matsuko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Matsuko trying to control but Stack is working from the bottom. Stack manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Matsuko manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Matsuko has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stack doesn't defend quickly enough and Matsuko has managed to lock this one up! Can Stack escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Matsuko on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeshi misses with a looping right. Takeshi moves out of range as Hagler throws a body kick.
Takeshi throws a hook to the side of Hagler's head but Hagler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. An inside leg kick lands from Hagler. Takeshi looks to land a right hand but Hagler moved out of range. Hagler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takeshi's waist but Hagler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hagler off to one side. Takeshi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hagler can pounce on him.

Takeshi misses with a straight left. Hagler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Takeshi but Takeshi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Takeshi misses with a straight right. Takeshi swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takeshi throws a leg kick and Hagler counters with a body kick that stops Takeshi in his tracks momentarily. A nice leg kick lands there from Hagler. Takeshi is breathing heavily. Takeshi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hagler counters with a nice body kick.
Hagler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. DANGER Takeshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Hagler. Takeshi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hagler counters with an inside leg kick.

and Hagler counters with an outside leg kick.
Takeshi cracks Hagler with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Hagler falls to his knees and Takeshi doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Okubo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown by Maafi or perhaps it was just good defense by Okubo which made him look bad. A right-left combo lands from Okubo. A head kick misses from Maafi. Maafi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Okubo swivels and escapes. Okubo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maafi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Okubo circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koron Maafi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some wild striking there from Okubo.

Okubo is trying desperately to improve position. Maafi tries to control but Okubo wriggling away. Maafi wants to get back to his feet but Okubo is holding on tight.

Maafi wants to stand but Okubo has his arm trapped. Maafi scores with a couple of short elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Takayuki Okubo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Okubo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takahara looks to land a body kick but Noshikawa moved away. Takahara fails to land the takedown. Takahara throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Noshikawa's waist but Takahara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takahara off to one side. Noshikawa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Noshikawa is on top in guard.

Takaya controlling the positon. Takaya avoiding McTavish 's attempts to control his hands. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Takaya is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but McTavish has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mok wants to clinch up but Kanehara keeps it at a distance. Mok scores with a leg kick.

Kanehara moves in looking to clinch but Mok pushes him off. Kanehara is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Kanehara tries to clinch up but Mok circles away and keeps his distance. Mok takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kanehara moves into the clinch successfully.

and Mok counters with a thumping low kick. A combination from Kanehara does no damage. Kanehara fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kanehara scoring well with a low kick there.

Mok checks a leg kick. Kanehara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kanehara slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mok is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mok takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mok is still on wobbly legs! Can Kanehara finish him? Kanehara throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mok makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Mok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kanehara.

Kanehara cracks Mok with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Mok falls to his knees and Kanehara doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
