Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiremu Huia (ranked 3601 p4p, 378 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 9016 p4p, 697 weight class). Huia comes to the cage accompanied by Poi E - Patea Maori Club. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

49 - 50 - 2, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Huia! Poulter is out on his feet! Huia rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Poulter is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Poulter is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wiremu Huia! Our winner, Wiremu Huia, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mc Elroy avoids the body shot from Viceroy.
Viceroy throws a body shot but no joy. A jab-cross combination lands for Mc Elroy and sends Viceroy crashing to the mat! Mc Elroy follows him down to the mat - Viceroy regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Lord Viceroy has been cut. Viceroy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mc Elroy is figuring out what he wants to do next. Viceroy trying to hold on to Mc Elroy's head to control him but Mc Elroy postures up.

Mc Elroy is looking to advance position but Viceroy won't allow it. Mc Elroy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mc Elroy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Viceroy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Mc Elroy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Viceroy defends it well. Mc Elroy seems to be working for a kimura but Viceroy defends the submission attempt. Viceroy is not content to let Mc Elroy control the position. Mc Elroy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mc Elroy goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Viceroy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mc Elroy's guard! Nice work there by Viceroy! Mc Elroy pulls Viceroy in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mc Elroy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Viceroy preventing the sweep. Mc Elroy is looking to stand up but Viceroy isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mc Elroy working the ground and pound from side control. Mc Elroy postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Mc Elroy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Viceroy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mc Elroy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Viceroy's guard.

Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Viceroy's shoulder. That is not cool. Mc Elroy sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Viceroy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Viceroy tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mc Elroy cranks the arm and Viceroy screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Viceroy, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
