Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Tito Sonnen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Srki Tenja! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tenja stuffs the takedown. A looping hook to the body misses from Sonnen. Tenja does a little dance to reset his feet. Sonnen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sonnen tries to move to mount but Tenja blocks the move with his legs. Tenja is trying to control Sonnen's posture but Sonnen avoids it. Tenja regains half guard. Tenja is not content to let Sonnen control the position. Sonnen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sonnen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tenja on the ground. Tenja makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tenja.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tenja looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Sonnen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tenja wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tenja wants to sweep but no luck. Sonnen throws a strike but Tenja rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sonnen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sonnen tries to get out of the position. Tenja has gone for a leg lock! Sonnen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tenja's guard. Sonnen scoring with some ground and pound. Tenja looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sonnen is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tenja looks gassed! Sonnen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tenja avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sonnen wants to pass the guard but Tenja is keeping the position. Sonnen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tenja lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Tenja tries for a takedown but Sonnen circles away easily and Sonnen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sonnen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tenja is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sonnen scoring with some ground and pound. Sonnen wants to pass the guard but Tenja is keeping the position. Tenja is trying to control the position but Sonnen postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tito Sonnen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tenja gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sonnen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tenja won't be happy with that. Tenja manages to get back to half guard. Tenja keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Tenja trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tenja regains full guard. Nicely done. Sonnen trying to control but Tenja is working from the bottom. Sonnen with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tenja looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tenja has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sonnen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Sonnen misses with a takedown and Tenja moves into the clinch. Sonnen tries to pull guard but Tenja holds him up against the cage and eventually Sonnen drops back down to his feet.

Sonnen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tenja dives on top into guard. Tenja trying to control but Sonnen is working from the bottom. Sonnen wants to sweep here but Tenja controlling him for the moment. Sonnen has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tenja has passed into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tenja throws a right and a left that both miss. Tito Sonnen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tenja gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tenja wants to sweep but no luck. Sonnen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tenja is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sonnen, into his guard. Sonnen is pulling down on Tenja's head. It's preventing any offense from Tenja, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tito Sonnen will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Tenja closes the distance looking to clinch so Sonnen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sonnen postures up in Tenja's guard and throws a big left but Tenja blocks it. Tenja controlling Sonnen's posture. Sonnen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tenja is keeping the position for now. Tenja is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sonnen dives into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tenja gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Sonnen seems content to control. Sonnen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tenja with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tenja is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sonnen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sonnen's back! Tenja throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Tenja working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Tenja is landing with strikes from the back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tenja has his feet on Sonnen's thighs here. He's pushed Sonnen off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sonnen screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Procter's entrance music is Wild Boys- Hardcore Superstar. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Andrew Sparks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sparks looks to land a combination but Procter avoids it well. Sparks uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Procter trying to control the position from guard on top but Sparks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Procter throws a big right hand that misses. Sparks can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Procter controls the pace. Procter postures up and lands a big shot to Sparks's brow. Sparks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Procter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Procter passes Sparks's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sparks is refusing to be controlled, as Procter sits in half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Procter connects with a nice short shot to Sparks's temple. Procter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Procter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sparks defend it? Procter steps over the head and cranks it - Sparks is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Procter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ONeill fails with a takedown attempt. ONeill displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Calzaghe throws out the jab. ONeill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Calzaghe. ONeill misses with a few strikes there.
ONeill closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Calzaghe is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. ONeill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Calzaghe keeps working. Calzaghe is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, ONeill asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. ONeill throwing shots but missing, from side control. ONeill looks up at the clock and then as Calzaghe takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, ONeill smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd cheers as Calzaghe lands an impressive looking overhand right. ONeill doesn't seem phased though.
The cut above Kyle ONeill's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Calzaghe fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Calzaghe throws a jab but it's blocked by ONeill. Calzaghe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. ONeill on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A combination from Calzaghe does no damage. Calzaghe scores with a body shot.

Kyle ONeill's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. ONeill has a takedown stuffed. Calzaghe misses with a double jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bongo tries to move into range but Cesinha moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bongo.
Cesinha thuds his right hand into Bongo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Cesinha scores with a jab to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Cesinha!
Nice body punch from Cesinha. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bongo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Cesinha throws a series of punches but Bongo avoids them all with ease. Cesinha swinging wildly here.

Honey shoots in and bounces Krakov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Honey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Honey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Krakov's head. Honey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Honey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Honey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krakov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Honey has managed to get both his arms back between Krakov's legs - danger averted. Honey thows a big elbow that misses.

Honey sitting and controlling from the half guard. Honey works his way into side control. Krakov is not content to let Honey control the position.

Honey has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Krakov! Honey controlling from mount. Honey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Krakov's face.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ljepic ducks under a wild hook from Heartless. Heartless fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ljepic sprawls well initially but Heartless persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Heartless is working for a kimura but Ljepic is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heartless is looking for a kimura here.
Heartless controlling the pace. Ljepic looking for submissions off his back. Ljepic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Heartless. Heartless wants to pass to mount but Ljepic is defending the position. Heartless is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Ljepic still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Ljepic has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
