The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ford defending well as Dormier loads up on a big left hand. Dormier scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dormier seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dormier perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ford regains full guard. Nicely done. Ford wants to sweep here but Dormier controlling him for the moment. Dormier controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ford tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ford has momentary wrist control but Dormier slips an elbow through the middle. Dormier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ford on the ground. Dormier working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ford is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ford is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dormier scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dormier trying to control but Ford is working from the bottom. Ford bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dormier's guard. Dormier controlling Ford's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ford wants to control from the top but Dormier keeps moving. Dormier is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Grind Time [ *Double Elite Coaches] that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Dormier pulls Ford in to control the position. Ford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dormier swivels though and keeps the full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dormier tries to roll over but Ford keeps him under control. Ford trying to mount his opponent but Dormier defends it. Dormier is holding on to half guard well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dormier closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Come on Dormier - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Ford ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ford no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ford keeping full guard, as Dormier tries to pass. Ford keeping moving, preventing Dormier from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Manual Dormier will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Dormier missing with a left hand there. Ford was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A big right from Dormier misses. Ford changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Nice shot lands for Dormier. Ford slips under a jab. Ford with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dormier to score with a decent uppercut. Ford shoots and misses and Dormier counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dormier is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ford can do to turn this around? Dormier throws an overhand right that lands on Ford's shoulder, as Ford tries to avoid the shot. Dormier connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ford's hands. Dormier darts in and clinches Ford up against the cage. Ford tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dormier just stands there and leans against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ford tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dormier smiles and moves away.
Manual Dormier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martyn Ford. Ford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dormier's waist but Dormier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ford off to one side. A jab from Dormier finds it's way through Ford's defenses. Dormier shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dormier scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dormier wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ford keeps working. Ford slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ford keeping moving, preventing Dormier from controlling successfully. Manual Dormier overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dormier stays in close to Ford's body and controls the position. Ford looking to control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. McGee throws a jab but it's blocked by Dassler. Timothy McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGee throws a leg kick which misses Dassler's front leg but catches the back leg as Dassler tries to avoid it. McGee swings away with a body shot that misses
and Dassler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dassler sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McGee defending well though. Dassler thows a huge punch but McGee dodges it nicely.
Dassler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McGee tries to get to full guard but Dassler has control of the leg. Dassler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dassler, into his guard. Dassler tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dassler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McGee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dassler has his foot on McGee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGee works his way back into a safe position though. McGee cracks Dassler with a solid left hand. Dassler is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

It looks like Adi Dassler has been cut. McGee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. McGee pushes down on Dassler's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dassler is looking for a sweep. McGee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dassler is working hard here to advance position. Dassler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGee pulls his head out easily. McGee lands with a punch from half guard. McGee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dassler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dassler is rocked! McGee passes the guard and advances to mount! Oh Dassler is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! McGee looking to finish Dassler with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dassler!

Tetsuo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Harvey. Harvey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Harvey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tetsuo was well out of range. Poor timing from Harvey. Tetsuo throws out a counter right but Harvey avoids it with no problem. A bone on bone clash there as Tetsuo blocks the leg kick.

Amaury slips a straight right by Svensson. Amaury jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Amaury moves away from the strike by Svensson. Svensson with a nice cross. Svensson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Amaury manages to avoid it. Svensson throws a shot from downtown. Amaury moves away and avoids it. Svensson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice uppercut lands for Svensson. That snapped Amaury's head back.

The fight stays on the outside here - Svensson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Amaury looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Qwe is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Qwe walks straight into a right hand from Hart - that's dropped him! Hart jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Qwe from any more punishment! Qwe complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stein throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kwon's head.
It looks like Sol Kwon has been cut. The fighters circle momentarily. Kwon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stein throws a quick inside leg kick. Kwon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stein.
Kwon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stein cracks Kwon on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kwon falls backwards against the cage. Stein follows up with more strikes that drop Kwon to his knees. Stein keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kwon! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Stein! After winning the bout, Frank Stein thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

AssKicken is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Blade to keep the fight standing. AssKicken manages to pull guard.
AssKicken wants to sweep here but Blade controlling him for the moment. AssKicken working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blade doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blade manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Blade preventing the sweep. Blade has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Blade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for AssKicken on the ground. Blade wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of AssKicken's closed guard. He's half up but AssKicken has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! AssKicken pivots and extends the arm, Blade falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by AssKicken! Well done that man!
