0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rick Pless! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pless shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Iron pulls Pless in close to prevent any damage. Pless trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pless preventing the sweep. Pless stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Iron swivels though and keeps the full guard. Iron looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pless trying to control but Iron is working from the bottom. Pless's corner is telling him to maintain position. Iron might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Iron is staying active underneath Pless, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pless working over Iron with some ground and pound. Iron looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Iron could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Iron is positioning himself well to prevent Pless advancing to mount. Iron looking for submissions off his back. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pless connects with a nice short shot to Iron's temple. Pless controlling the action here. Iron is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pless wants to take a breather but Iron is having none of it. Pless perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Let's hope that Pless has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Iron has Pless up against the cage in a clinch.
Iron is pushing Pless up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Iron lands with a short head shot on the inside. Pless changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Iron fights it off and pushes away nicely.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Iron creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Iron content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Pless closes the distance and clinches up with Iron, looking for a takedown. Pless pushes Iron against the cage but Iron circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pless takes a swing at Iron's ribcage but misses. Pless throws out a leg kick but Iron moves out of range and Pless only half commits. Iron works the jab nicely. Rick Pless is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pless shoots in and gets a takedown into Iron's guard. Iron is pulling down on Pless's head. It's preventing any offense from Pless, at least for the moment. Pless trying to control but Iron is working from the bottom. Iron tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pless tumbles to the floor! Iron threw a big shot that dropped him and now Iron is on top looking to finish! Pless has guard but can he survive?!
Pless is rocked! Iron wants to control from the top but Pless keeps moving. Pless is still in real trouble! Can Iron finish him? Iron content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Iron postures up and lands a big shot to Pless's brow. Iron gets to his feet and stands over Pless, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Pless felt that one! Iron unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Pless from any more punishment!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice jab there from McTavish.
Drougba is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. McTavish engages and cracks Drougba with a massive lead left hook - Drougba tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! McTavish is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Cows darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Cows bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Stefansson moves forwards but Cows connects with a nice, crisp jab. Stefansson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cows.

Cows fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stefansson, pushing him back against the cage. Cows lands a big right hand that sends Stefansson to the canvas! This could be the beginning of the end for Stefansson!

Stefansson is still in real trouble! Can Cows finish him? Stefansson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Stefansson seems to have recovered his senses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stefansson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cows has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stefansson is working away from the top position though. Stefansson prevents Cows from standing back up.

It looks like Pud Padorca has been cut. Dinnar throws a series of punches but Padorca avoids them all with ease. Padorca takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Decent striking displayed by Dinnar there. Dinnar throws a series of punches but Padorca avoids them all with ease. Padorca fails with a takedown attempt. Dinnar drops Padorca with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Padorca looks back up at him and smiles so Dinnar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That has opened up Pud Padorca's cut even more. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dinnar closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Padorca out cold! Padorca corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson scores with a decent looking hook. A bone on bone clash there as Johnson blocks the leg kick.
As Long looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo but Long just gets out of the way. Johnson looks to land a combination but Long avoids it well. Johnson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Johnson misses with a wild combination.
Johnson throws a body punch but Long moves out of range. Johnson really is a fat lump. Johnson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Long throws a hook but Johnson blocks it. Johnson blocks a jab. Horrible takedown attempt by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Long, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Long fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson lands with a nice combination. Long backs away looking to recover. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. An inside leg kick from Long misses. Long is looking to land body kicks. Long looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Long counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Long on the ground. Long is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Long slips nicely into half guard. Long looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Long slips a nice elbow through Johnson's hands, connecting with Johnson's forehead.
It looks like Felix Johnson has been cut. Long works his foot free and advances to mount. Long is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Johnson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Johnson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard.
