 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helio misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mad Cow.
Mad Cow throws out a leg kick but Helio moves out of range and Mad Cow only half commits. Mad Cow bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Helio. Helio swings for the body but Mad Cow moves out of range.
Helio takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mad Cow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Helio moves away. Mad Cow moves forwards but Helio connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Helio changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mad Cow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Helio controls the position. Mad Cow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Helio is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Mad Cow manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Helio seems content to control. Mad Cow wants to improve his position but Helio is controlling well.

 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mikal Helio. Helio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mad Cow manages to avoid it. Jeff Mad Cow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A shot to the liver by Helio. Beautiful body shot. Helio digs a good hook to Mad Cow's body.

Mad Cow misses with a looping left. Mad Cow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Mad Cow misses with a series of wild punches.

Mad Cow ducks right into an uppercut from Helio. Helio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mad Cow's head.
Helio shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mad Cow napping and manages to drive through into side control! Helio is staying tight to Mad Cow's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Helio has hold of Mad Cow's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mad Cow tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Helio cranks the arm and Mad Cow screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mad Cow, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Tasi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Passaglia pinned against the cage. Passaglia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tasi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Passaglia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Passaglia gets to his feet - Tasi follows without any prompting. Good leg kick by Passaglia there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Passaglia throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tasi's head. Passaglia plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Tasi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Passaglia avoids it really well and circles away. Passaglia scoring well with a low kick there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Passaglia throws a front kick aimed at Tasi's knee but Tasi avoids it well. Passaglia is fighting to break Tasi's control of his arms but Tasi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Passaglia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kalepo Tasi has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tasi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Passaglia - the referee stops the clock and Tasi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Passaglia. Tasi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Passaglia misses with a head kick.

Tasi has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Passaglia. Passaglia throws a head kick that half lands.
Tasi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Passaglia can pounce on him.

Lui Passaglia is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Passaglia lands a head kick. Tasi smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Tasi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Passaglia. Passaglia misses with a body kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Passaglia misses with a head kick.
Tasi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tasi works to advance to full mount. Passaglia defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
And that's the end of the fight! Lui Passaglia showed his dominance in that final round. I think Passaglia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 It looks like Sonny Liston has been cut. The fighters circling - Liston throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Liston scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Coon dives in and grabs Liston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liston pushes down on Coon's head and hops out. Liston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Coon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Liston wants to stand but Coon is controlling the position. Liston keeping full guard, as Coon tries to pass. Liston utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Liston is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Coon is controlling him.

Let's see if Rollins can do anything to dispel that myth. Rollins desperately trying to maintain half guard. Phillips is figuring out what he wants to do next.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rollins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Henry Rollins is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rollins keeping moving, preventing Phillips from controlling successfully. Rage Phillips has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Phillips is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Mash closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Swearengen did well to prevent Mash getting side control. Mash throws a strike but Swearengen avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Swearengen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mash wants to pass the guard but Swearengen is keeping the position. Mash is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Swearengen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mash defends it easily. Mash throwing strikes but missing.

Mash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Swearengen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mash working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circling - Mash throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Swearengen tries to land a leg kick but Mash saw it coming and moves away.
Swearengen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mash checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Mash gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Swearengen. A leg kick checked by Mash. Swearengen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Swearengen's waist but Swearengen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mash off to one side. Mash looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Swearengen is fending him off so far but Mash persists. Nope, Swearengen circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Swearengen misses with a looping right. Mash throws an overhand right that lands on Swearengen's shoulder, as Swearengen tries to avoid the shot. Swearengen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mash finds it's way round the side to connect with Swearengen's head. Swearengen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A shot to the body from Mash misses and Swearengen counters with a lovely shot to the body. Swearengen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Swearengen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Swearengen wants it to stay on the feet. Swearengen keeps Mash at a distance using the push kick. Swearengen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mash. Swearengen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mash lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mash bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mash is working Swearengen over with some ground and pound from side control. Swearengen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mash off and has taken his back! Swearengen is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Swearengen doesn't have the hooks in and Mash manages to turn into his guard.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Swearengen to score with a decent uppercut. Swearengen connects with a jab. Mash looks to land a body kick but Swearengen moved away. Swearengen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mash if he has to take too many more of those.

Swearengen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Swearengen wants it to stay on the feet. Swearengen throws a front kick aimed at Mash's knee but Mash avoids it well. Mash just misses with a punch to the body.

Nope, Swearengen circles away and we're back to standing. Mash loads up on a big right hand but Swearengen slips the punch. Swearengen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mash throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Swearengen looks to land a right hand but Mash moved out of range. Mash takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Mash drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Swearengen wants to slow Mash down by chopping away at his legs. Mash getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Swearengen scores with a sloppy right hand. Swearengen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mash's hands. Swearengen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watanabe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Campos throws a hook to the side of Watanabe's head but Watanabe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Watanabe tries to move into range but Campos moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Watanabe swings and misses with a hook to the body.

 It looks like Katsuo Watanabe has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Campos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Watanabe. A big left from Campos misses.  Katsuo Watanabe's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Watanabe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Campos. Nice uppercut lands for Campos. That snapped Watanabe's head back.
