The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bourke slaps away a takedown attempt from Hussainzada, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bourke has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Bourke scores with a jab. Hussainzada acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bourke throws out a powerful jab. Bourke lands a glancing blow to the side of Hussainzada's head. Bourke scores with a sloppy right hand. Hussainzada should have avoided that one. Hussainzada looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bourke is fending him off so far but Hussainzada persists. Nope, Bourke circles away and we're back to standing. Bourke looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hussainzada throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hussainzada takes a jab right on the kisser.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hussainzada. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bourke is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hussainzada off and has taken his back! Bourke controls the action. Hussainzada is trying to break free.

Hussainzada tries to escape but Bourke has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bourke has good solid back control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bourke missing with punches from the back. Hussainzada is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Hussainzada staying busy and making it hard for Bourke to control. Bourke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Hussainzada is trying to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Let's hope that Bourke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. You can see the frustration on Hussainzada's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Bourke is not going to allow Hussainzada to sit and survive in this position. Hussainzada rolls, trying to escape but Bourke keeps control of the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bourke just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Rei Bourke dominated that round. That's time! Hussainzada's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bourke feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hussainzadas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hussainzada throws a head kick that misses. Bourke with a nice cross. Bourke scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bourke. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Bourke wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bourke lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bourke has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hussainzada has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hussainzada there as he acknowledges the shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bourke lands with an uppercut that bounces Hussainzada off the cage and back into range. Hussainzada walks into a left hand. Bourke lunges at Hussainzada with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hussainzada's hand. Rei Bourke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hussainzada fails with the takedown. Bourke lands a lovely overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hussainzada takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hussainzada throws a leg kick that is checked and Bourke counters with a stiff right hand. Bourke cracks Hussainzada with an open hand slap. Bourke throws a series of strikes that have Hussainzada backpedaling.
Hussainzada is rocked! Hussainzada throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bourke! But no joy. Oh Hussainzada is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hussainzada tries to close the distance and clinch but Bourke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hussainzada seems to have got his legs back now. Bourke dodges the punch combination from Hussainzada.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hussainzada looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hussainzada fails with the takedown and Bourke counters with a nice uppercut. Hussainzada is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bourke sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. It seemed like Bourke was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shahwali Hussainzada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bourke connects with the punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bourke lands a slapping body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donk. Bourke catches Hussainzada right on the button with a cross. Bourke lands a glancing blow to the side of Hussainzada's head. Hussainzada misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rei Bourke seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bourke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hussainzada in his tracks. Shahwali Hussainzada is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hussainzada walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hussainzada shoots for a double leg takedown but Bourke sprawls well. He's pushed Hussainzada's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bourke lunges at Hussainzada with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hussainzada's hand. Hussainzada misses with a takedown and Bourke counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hussainzada thinking. Bourke cracks a nice hook into Hussainzada's ribs. Bourke scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hussainzada looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. BOOM! Bourke lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hussainzada. Hussainzada tries to recover but Bourke is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hussainzada lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Woods. Woods throws a wild body kick that Carvallo sees coming a mile off. Carvallo misses with a low kick as Woods jumps back. Carvallo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Woods delivers a nice body kick. Woods throws a sloppy head kick and Carvallo moves out of range easily. Woods moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Carvallo checks a low kick from Woods. Woods misses with a leg kick and Carvallo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A head kick by Woods misses and Carvallo counters with an outside leg kick.
Woods fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carvallo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Carvallo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. We've been informed that Woods has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Woods does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. It looked like Carvallo was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Woods. Woods connects with an inside leg kick. JJ Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carvallo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Woods connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Carvallo moves into range and connects with a jab. Woods's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Woods throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Woods avoids the body shot from Carvallo.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ernesto Carvallo will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doumbe tries to clinch up but Yaj circles away and keeps his distance. Yaj fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doumbe manages to avoid it. Doumbe moves in looking to clinch but Yaj pushes him off. A counter left hand to the body from Yaj misses its target. Yaj avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yaj was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Doumbe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yaj. Yaj misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doumbe.
Yaj throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Doumbe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Some wild striking there from Yaj.
Doumbe drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Yaj defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doumbe throws a sloppy head kick and Yaj counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick by Doumbe misses and Yaj counters with a right hand to the body. Yaj lands a nice shot to the body.

Doumbe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yaj counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Cyriac Doumbe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yaj connects with a superb combination that knocks Doumbe out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Yaj before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Doumbe!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wobble feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wobble with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wobble controlling from the top position. Wobble is working Maeda over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Maeda manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wobble manages to get himself to full guard.
Wobble looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maeda is one step ahead there. Wobble controlling the position. My spies in Cozad The Island inform me that Wobble has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Maeda can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wobble controls the pace.

Harrell is working away from the top position though. Harrell slips a nice elbow through Cain's hands, connecting with Cain's forehead. Harrell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hugo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yaj counters with a right hand to the body. Hugo tries to clinch but fails miserably and Yaj counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hugo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hugo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Yaj counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hugo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Yaj connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yaj dips to his left and cracks Hugo with an uppercut! Hugo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yaj connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tanaka tries to avoid it but Baya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tanaka to the ground. Tanaka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Nevez enables Smith to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nevez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Smith drops back looking for a leg! Nevez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nevez manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Nevez's guard. Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nevez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Nevez in his guard. Horrible takedown attempt by Marquez or perhaps it was just good defense by Azevedo Souza, which made it look bad. Marquez shoots for a double leg takedown but Azevedo Souza sprawls well. He's pushed Marquez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Marquez fails to land the takedown.
