In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Jeremy Sullivan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 5 losses; Waldo Claudiano!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Claudiano clinches up against the cage.

Sullivan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Claudiano is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sullivan to the mat. Sullivan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Sullivan is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Touch Of Death Combat Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Sullivan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Claudiano is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sullivan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sullivan's back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
I really don't envy Sullivan right now.

Claudiano is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sullivan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sullivan for a finish.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Vick drives through and clinches with Aoki against the cage.

Vick jumps into guard, dragging Aoki to the mat.
Aoki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Aoki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Vick tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Vick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aoki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aoki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Aoki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vick looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vick looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vick!

Vick is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aoki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Aoki is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Vick is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Aoki is controlling an arm, preventing Vick from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Vick goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Aoki turns into him and now he's in Vick's guard.

Aoki is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
We've been hearing good reports from Vick's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Vick has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aoki should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vick has tightened it up now! Aoki should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
