The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakocevic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tonu is fending him off so far but Bakocevic persists. Nope, Tonu circles away and we're back to standing.
Bakocevic throws a head kick but Tonu moves out of range.

and Bakocevic counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bakocevic shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tonu eats them both and turns towards Bakocevic to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Tonu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bakocevic's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tonu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bakocevic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tonu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bakocevic, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A nice side step and Forest releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Forest tries to bum rush Dropout with a series of wild strikes but Dropout uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dropout decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
