Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tourney Dropout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Tonu! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tonu lands a glancing blow to the side of Dropout's head. Dropout moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dropout tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tonu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dropout somewhat. Tonu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tonu connects with a body shot that sends Dropout's belly button to the back. Dropout throws a jab but it's blocked by Tonu. Dropout shoots in looking for a takedown but Tonu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dropout's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dropout throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Tonu looks like he wants to counter punch here. A punch lands to the side of Dropout 's head but he takes it in his stride. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dropout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tonu manages to avoid it. Edward Tonu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tonu ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dropout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tonu as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tourney Dropout. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tonu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tonu stuffs the takedown. Tonu attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Dropout on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dropout shoots and misses and Dropout takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tonu lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dropout dives in and grabs Tonu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tonu pushes down on Dropout's head and hops out. Dropout takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dropout takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tonu throws a leg kick and Dropout counters with a single leg into guard. Tonu didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tonu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tonu tries to land a sweep but no joy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tonu can do anything to dispel that myth. Dropout postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tonu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Tonu keeping moving, preventing Dropout from controlling successfully. Dropout controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Tonu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dropout sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tonu's guard. Tonu looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Tonu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dropout is working away from the top position though. Tonu looking for submissions off his back. Tonu looks winded! Dropout controlling the action here. Tonu wants to control but Dropout is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dropout looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dropout is keen to just control but Tonu is a slippery customer. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dropout controlling the action here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Dropout fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A low kick from Tonu misses and Dropout counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dropout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tonu as he avoids it easily. Tonu closes the distance and lands a one-two. Tonu works Dropout's body with a nice hook. Tonu throws a nice looking combination but Dropout bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tonu scores with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edward Tonu dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dropout shoots in for a double leg but Tonu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dropout takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dropout takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dropout looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tonu is fending him off so far but Dropout persists. Nope, Tonu circles away and we're back to standing. Dropout takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tonu lands a jab. Tonu tries a low kick but Dropout avoids it. Dropout was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Tonu works Dropout's body with a nice hook. Tonu lands the left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dropout scores with the left hand. Tonu knows he should have avoided that one. Tonu misses with a low kick as Dropout jumps back. Dropout throws a body punch but Tonu moves out of range. Tonu is looking to chop away at Dropout's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tonu connects with the punch. Tonu lands with a hook. Dropout tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Dropout shoots in and drives through. Dropout dodges the punch combination from Tonu.

Dropout's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tonu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dropout scrambles back to his feet. Tonu lands a nice hook to Dropout's body. Dropout takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dropout on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Dropout fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tonu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Edward Tonu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dropout closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tonu circles away.

Dropout walks into a stiff left hand from Tonu. Dropout has a takedown stuffed. Tonu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tonu duly obliges. Tonu attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Tonu cracks Dropout with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Tonu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dropout under the eye. Dropout walks into a straight right hand from Tonu. Tonu lands with a hook. Dropout tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Tonu throws a series of punches but Dropout avoids them all with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Tonu misses. Dropout changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tonu throws a leg kick but Dropout sees it coming and moves out of range. Tonu lands a jab. Dropout takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Tonu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dropout throws out the jab. Tonu works the jab nicely. Tonu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dropout eats them both and turns towards Tonu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dropout lands a jab to Tonu's midsection. Tonu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Dropout takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A shot to the liver by Tonu. Beautiful body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dropout takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tonu lands with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dropout walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dropout fails with the takedown. Tonu connects with a jab. Tonu displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Tonu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dropout. Dropout slips a jab and a cross from Tonu.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tonu jabs Dropout right on the nose. Dropout blinks but takes it well. Danga de danga de dang - Tonu scores with a four punch combination! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edward Tonu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Tonu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Tonu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dropout to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dropout gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dropout trying to control the position from guard on top but Tonu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tonu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dropout defends it easily.

Tonu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dropout drops back looking for a leg! Tonu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tonu manages to kick Dropout off! Dropout jumps back into Tonu's guard. Tonu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dropout doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dropout manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dropout stays in close to Tonu's body and controls the position.

Dropout wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tonu keeps working. Dropout seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tonu wants to get back to full guard. Tonu is refusing to be controlled, as Dropout sits in half guard. Tonu gets back to full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nice straight punches there by Tonu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tonu. Dropout throws a lazy right hand but Tonu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dropout closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tonu to the mat! Tonu manages to get full guard. Dropout looking to pass the guard. Dropout throwing strikes but missing. Tonu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dropout doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dropout manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tonu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dropout stacks Tonu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dropout! Tourney Dropout has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tonu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dropout wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Tourney Dropout showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tonu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Wariat makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jr Ii really felt that one! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wariat. Jr Ii shrugs it off though. A slow jab from Jr Ii misses its intended target. Jr Ii misses with a wild body shot. Wariat throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Wariat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
