7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Jose Diaz! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sunchez drives through with a takedown into Diaz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sunchez distracts Diaz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sunchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sunchez manages to get his head free but now Diaz has transitioned to an armbar! Sunchez grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Diaz! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

A relieved looking Jose Diaz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Alex Sunchez stepped up to the mic, saying 'I knew that winning this fight will be hard. And loosing this fight is not end of my career, i promise to be back in future fights better. I apologise to all my fans but next time i wont let you guys down. I need a rematch......'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turturro takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Yaj lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Turturro goes for a double leg but Yaj avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Yaj continues to drive forward. Turturro misses with a takedown and Yaj counters with a lovely shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yaj tries to improve position but can't. Yaj knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turturro on the ground. Turturro trying to control the position but Yaj is working away. Turturro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Yaj tries to buck Turturro off but Turturro is having none of it.

Turturro is looking to take a break and control but Yaj is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yaj tries to buck Turturro off but Turturro is having none of it.

He has the arm isolated but Yaj is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Turturro has hold of Yaj's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yaj seems comfortable defending it but Turturro has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yaj is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yaj is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Turturro couldn't care less - he's delighted!
