Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Indigo Starseed (ranked 12431 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Machado (ranked 6407 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Machado. Machado misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. It's preventing any offense from Machado, at least for the moment. Starseed keeping full guard, as Machado tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Machado trying to control the position from guard on top but Starseed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Starseed pulls Machado in close to prevent any damage.

Machado trying to mount his opponent but Starseed defends it. Machado is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Starseed reverses the position - he's now on top in Machado's guard. Starseed biding his time, controlling Machado. We've been hearing good reports from Starseed's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Machado breaks Starseed's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Starseed is not content to let Machado control the position.

But no, Starseed has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Machado but great work by Starseed. Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Starseed (15) vs (7) Machado Machado regains half guard there - taking advantage of Starseed's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Starseed prevents Machado from improving his position. Starseed is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Machado is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Starseed seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Machado wants to improve his position but Starseed is controlling well.

That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Starseed avoids the attempt from Machado to control. Starseed takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Machado is trying to reverse the position but instead Starseed has taken his back - oops! That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Starseed has good solid back control here. Machado wants to control his opponent's hands but Starseed gets his hands free. Starseed keeps control of the position easily here as Machado tries to buck him off.
Machado turns into Starseed and is now in his guard.

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Starseed holds on and takes a little breather. Machado slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Score +3 for passing guard: Starseed (21) vs (12) Machado Starseed is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Machado's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Starseed wants to control but Machado is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Machado is looking to stall here but Starseed recovers full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Starseed takes the fight on points by 21 to 12. Indigo Starseed is the new heavyweight champion!
