0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Huo Yuanjia! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuanjia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mukafi avoids it really well and circles away. Yuanjia fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mukafi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yuanjia. Yuanjia is looking to clinch. Yuanjia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mukafi but Mukafi pushes him off and we're back to square one. Khali Mukafi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huo Yuanjia. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A momentary lapse in concentration from Yuanjia enables Mukafi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yuanjia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mukafi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mukafi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yuanjia is keeping the position for now.

Mukafi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mukafi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Yuanjia looking to control.
Mukafi passes easily into side control. Nice work. Mukafi has hold of Yuanjia's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yuanjia seems comfortable defending it but Mukafi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yuanjia is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yuanjia is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mukafi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Khali Mukafi! Khali Mukafi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, Huo Yuanjia stepped up to the mic, saying 'Wushu is the way to go.'.

Gay G looks to land a right hand but Warrior moved out of range. Gay G lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A solid body kick from Warrior. Warrior scoring well with a low kick there.
Warrior cracks Gay G with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No joy there for Gay G, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gay G has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Warrior. Warrior connects with a solid leg kick. Warrior lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gay G will feel that in the morning. Gay G misses the jab. Warrior lands a nice looking body kick. Warrior moves away from the strike by Gay G. Warrior lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Warrior scores with a decent looking hook. A slapping leg kick lands for Warrior.

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gay G misses with a straight right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cross closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cross lands in his opponent's guard. Winston Jr wants to stand and escape but Cross is having none of it. Winston Jr manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Winston Jr shoots for a takedown but Cross saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cross tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cross gets caught flat footed, as Winston Jr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winston Jr wants to control from the top but Cross keeps moving. Winston Jr working some strikes from top position. Winston Jr forces his way into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Winston Jr is just content to waste time from the top position. Cross takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Cross had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Winston Jr defends it easily. Cross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Winston Jr on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee ducks under a wild hook from McCain. McCain tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Nice body kick from McCain. Lee wants to clinch but McCain slips to the side and McCain counters with a nice leg kick. Noah Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John McCain is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. McCain lands a front kick. McCain tries to land a front kick but Lee steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Claude tries to clinch but Pines is having none of it. Pines shoots in looking for a takedown but Claude manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pines's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pines closes the distance and clinches up with Claude, looking for a takedown. Pines pushes Claude against the cage but Claude circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pines shoots in but no luck this time. Jean Claude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of OJ Pines. Pines looks winded! Claude moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Claude has taken the fight to the clinch.
