The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fantana connects with a nice looking jab.
Fantana missing with a left hand there. Shot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fantana misses the shot to the body.
Shot was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Fantana scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fantana fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Shot with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fantana to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantana has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fantana uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shot.
Fantana lands a glancing blow to the side of Shot's head.

Nice uppercut lands for Fantana. That snapped Shot's head back.

Chille throws a hook to the side of Rigano's head but Rigano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rigano drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chille pulls his leg out and moves away.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Heribert Bosch (ranked 38 p4p, 5 weight class) and Chiku Maneno (ranked 135 p4p, 19 weight class). Bosch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Oktoberfest. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Heribert Bosch will probably get the nod.

Maneno stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Oh Bosch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
