The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deadmarsh is looking to chop away at O Whitersson's legs. Good standup being displayed there by O Whitersson as he connects with a hook. Hunt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Meyer sprawling to the canvas! Meyer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hunt finish him?!

Hunt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Hunt throws a jab when Meyer was well out of range. Hunt drops Meyer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Meyer looks back up at him and smiles so Hunt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Meyer seems to have recovered his senses. Meyer throws a push kick but Hunt slaps the foot to one side. Hunt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Hunt takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz dives in and grabs Koski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Koski pushes down on Cruz's head and hops out. Koski misses with a wild body shot. Koski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cruz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Koski looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Koski tries a head kick but it misses.

Cruz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

No, Cruz has managed to get both his arms back between Koski's legs - danger averted. Koski keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully. Cruz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Koski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cruz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. That was a close round but Dom Cruz did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cruz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Koski eats them both and turns towards Cruz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cruz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cruz closes the distance and clinches up with Koski, looking for a takedown. Cruz pushes Koski against the cage but Koski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cruz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koski makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Cruz seems to have got his legs back now. Koski lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cruz's sensitive parts. Koski fails in his attempt to clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd cheers as Koski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cruz doesn't seem phased though. Cruz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Koski can pounce on him.
Cruz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Good work by Cruz as he checks the leg kick. Cruz is looking to counter punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Koski counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dom Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cruz shoots in for a double leg but Koski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Koski on the wrong end of a nice hook. Koski takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Koski darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Cruz fails with the takedown and Koski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Koski connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Cruz out cold! This one is over in a flash!

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kai Yamaguchi. Well Yamaguchi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan checks a leg kick. Sullivan with a lazy takedown attempt and Com counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Com is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Com connects with a right hand. Sullivan shakes it off.
That has opened up Jeremy Sullivan's cut even more. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Com throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Com stuns Sullivan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Sullivan tries to clinch up but Com circles away and keeps his distance. Sullivan tries for a takedown but Com circles away easily and Com counters with a right hand to the body. Sullivan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooh!!! Com has knocked Sullivan down with a huge combo! Com steps away and waves a wobbly Sullivan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sullivan is rocked! Sullivan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sullivan is still on wobbly legs! Can Com finish him? Com jabs at Sullivan's body. Com cracks Sullivan with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sullivan looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Com finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sullivan blocks a jab. Com throws a head kick that misses. Bomb Com is winning the standup battle so far. Sullivan shoots for a double leg takedown but Com sprawls well. He's pushed Sullivan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Com throws a right and a left that Sullivan avoids nicely. Sullivan seems to have recovered his senses. Com gets caught flat footed, as Sullivan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Com is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Com wants to sweep here but Sullivan controlling him for the moment. Sullivan stands and throws Com's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sullivan wants to take a breather but Com manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Sullivan. Com is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Com is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sullivan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Com looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sullivan is one step ahead there. Sullivan is stalling in the full guard. Sullivan wants to pass the guard but Com is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan wants to control from the top but Com keeps moving. Com is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sullivan regains full guard. Nicely done. Sullivan is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Com has his hands clasped together but Sullivan extends and breaks Com's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sullivan.

Jeremy Sullivan decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
