The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winkle ducks right into an uppercut from Thomspon. Winkle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thomspon circles away. Thomspon lands with an overhand left. Winkle on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Winkle moves forwards but Thomspon connects with a nice, crisp jab. Thomspon lands an overhand right.
Winkle is rocked! BOOM! Thomspon lands a beautiful left hook that drops Winkle. Winkle tries to recover but Thomspon is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Winkle lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jogan is defended easily by Whittaker. Jogan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Whittaker sprawls well initially but Jogan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jogan quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Whittaker has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jogan celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Beefcake fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. MP shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. MP showed some decent athleticism there. Beefcake manages to get to full guard.

Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Miller goes for an armbar but Kirk turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kirk. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kirk is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Miller has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kirk is looking to defend but Miller has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kirk! Miller pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kirk taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry looks to clinch and Hawtry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hawtry being controlled here momentarily. We've been hearing that Hawtry has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Hawtry is in close to Henry 's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hawtry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hawtry wants to control from the top but Henry keeps moving. Henry manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hawtry manages to get himself to full guard.
