The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thoressen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Good dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thoressen. That did some damage! Good pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thoressen throws out a leg kick but Good moves out of range and Thoressen only half commits. Good tries to land a front kick but Thoressen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Good attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Thoressen looks to land a body kick but Good moved away. Good throws a leg kick that misses. Thoressen tries to work over Good's front leg with a kick but Good checks it. Thoressen lands a high kick!

Thoressen throws a push kick but Good slaps the foot to one side. Good appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. A low kick from Thoressen misses and Good counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Thoressen keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Good cracks the inside of Thoressen's front leg. Good with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Good connects with a leg kick. Thoressen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thoressen misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good throws a low kick but it's checked well by Thoressen. Good walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Thoressen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Good fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Thoressen checks it well. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thoressen. Thoressen takes a kick to the side of the head. Thoressen moves out of range of the leg kick from Good. Thoressen misses with a body kick. It looked like Good wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Thoressen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thoressen feints and then cracks Good's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Good down. Good lands a high kick!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Thoressen circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Good drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Thoressen follows Good to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Van Wyk walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Van Wyk limp body while Shevchenko jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. Frik Van Wyk was interviewed post fight and said 'You can only learn by losing. I will come back stronger!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TeppenGym tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Zaiou makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Zaiou is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in TeppenGym's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zaiou stops TeppenGym from getting back to his feet.
Zaiou seems to be looking for submissions.
Zaiou is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zaiou performing his best blanket impression for a moment. TeppenGym is looking to get back to is feet but Zaiou passes into side control.

TeppenGym didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zaiou is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zaiou hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rich Zaiou! In his post fight interview, Rich Zaiou started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. The defeated Superbon TeppenGym had this to say: 'No Comment'.

letting Deth counter with a right hand. Sitsongrit misses the body punch and Deth counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Deth is defended easily by Sitsongrit. Deth is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sitsongrit sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lemaron Deth. That's going to take a lot out of him.

He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Sitsongrit falls backwards, slamming Deth to the mat but Deth holds on tight! Sitsongrit is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Vencedor is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Point pulls down on the head and he's put Vencedor to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexandre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sitsongrit but Sitsongrit pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sitsongrit gets caught flat footed, as Alexandre shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Alexandre stopping the sweep attempt from Sitsongrit. Sitsongrit has his hands on Alexandre's head, controlling the position. Alexandre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sitsongrit looking to control but Alexandre passes into half guard.
Alexandre is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Sitsongrit to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sireika ducks under a wild hook from Maximus. Maximus misses with a lunging right hand
and Sireika counters with a stiff right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maximus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sireika. Sireika tries to counter by clinching up but Maximus breaks away and moves out of range. Sireika bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Maximus's head backwards. Maximus throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sireika is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Maximus misses with an uppercut
and Maximus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Maximus misses. Sireika steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maximus. Sireika tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Maximus manages to circle out of the way. Sireika closes the distance and clinches. Sireika lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Maximus or not. Sireika cracks Maximus with a nice body shot. Maximus wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sireika lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Maximus tries to circle away but Sireika has him pinned against the cage. Maximus blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sireika goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Maximus tries for a takedown but Sireika manages to get underhooks.

Maximus is rocked! Sireika creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Maximus's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Maximus drops to his knees and Sireika pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
