Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machava moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Machava ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

You can see the frustration on Rhino's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shark tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shark has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Shark has an Americana. Rhino didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shark is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shark hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Silvera lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Submarine head around and knocks him out cold! Silvera hops onto the ropes and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeil connects with a body shot that sends Smithson's belly button to the back.

Smithson cracks ONeil with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
ONeil pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smithson back to the ropes. ONeil follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
ONeil's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smithson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! ONeil scrambles back to his feet.
Smithson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
