The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzun on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Uzun closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Figg did well to prevent Uzun getting side control.

Cousins cracks Crompton with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Crompton looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cousins finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cousins finds Crompton's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Crompton flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Cousins lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Crompton will be OK.
