The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rob fails to land the takedown.
A nice side step and Scott releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Rob moves out of range of the strikes.
Rob shoots in for a takedown but Scott shows good takedown defense.
Rob dives in for a single leg takedown but Scott sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Scott throws out a counter right but Rob avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Black Rob. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rob throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Rob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scott as he avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Scott releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Rob shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Scott wants to control the action here but instead Rob manages to pass to full mount!
Scott is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Rob is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Scott can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Scott is controlling an arm, preventing Rob from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
