Jaro Lalla told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lalla shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bizzle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bizzle is pulling down on Lalla's head. It's preventing any offense from Lalla, at least for the moment.
Bizzle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lalla is controlling him.
Bizzle is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lalla is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Lalla shoots in looking for a takedown. Bizzle tries to sprawl out of it but Lalla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bizzle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Santoro is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Anderson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Anderson is out cold! Santoro holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

After winning the bout, Nicky Santoro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
