I think Salieri might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - Ain’t No Sunshine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Salieri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 23 - 4, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy White! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White throws a leg kick but Salieri moved away. Freddy White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salieri takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Salieri slips a jab from White. White throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Salieri counters with a lovely straight right hand! Salieri takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
White looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Salieri takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. White with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Salieri to score with a decent uppercut. White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salieri moves away. White fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Salieri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. White dodges the punch combination from Salieri.

That's one minute gone in the round. Salieri lands with a hook. White tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Salieri jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Salieri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily. White throws a nice inside leg kick. Salieri falls off balance throwing a combination
and White counters with a nice body shot. White throws a head kick but Salieri moves out of range.
White misses with a leg kick and Salieri counters with an inside leg kick. Freddy White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. White will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from White. Those never looked like landing. A chopping leg kick lands by Salieri. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! White misses with a straight right. Salieri misses with the combination.
We've been told by Salieri's head coaches at Mello MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Salieri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. White swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. White blocks the body kick.

White misses with an uppercut. White jabs Salieri right on the nose. Salieri blinks but takes it well. Salieri doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Salieri throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

White throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Salieri feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to White's calf. White misses with a low kick. A shot to the body from Salieri misses and White counters with a good low kick that Salieri was not able to check. White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Salieri throws out a powerful jab. White takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Salieri gets cracked there but stands up to it.
White throws a nice outside leg kick. Salieri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. White plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Salieri is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salieri misses the jab. White only half commits to the counter leg kick. Salieri lands a really nice looking cross but White seems unphased.
White delivers a nice body kick. No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch lands to the side of White 's head but he takes it in his stride. Salieri changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. White tries to avoid it but Salieri manages to keep hold of a leg and drag White to the ground. White escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Salieri throws a leg kick that is checked and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Salieri wants to land a leg kick but White is out of range. Despite the aggression on White's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Salieri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Salieri gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy White dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Salieri throws a jab when White was well out of range. White throws a leg kick that is checked and Salieri counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. White leaves Salieri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. White lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Salieri rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and White counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick by White misses and Salieri makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. White throws a looping overhand right but Salieri ducks down to avoid it. Salieri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salieri drives through with a takedown into guard. Salieri sitting in guard, not really doing much. Salieri stops White from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salieri postures up and lands a big shot to White's brow. Salieri stays in close to White's body and controls the position. Salieri makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Salieri loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. White keeping moving, preventing Salieri from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. White is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Salieri dives into side control.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salieri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White dodges the ground and pound from Salieri. Salieri postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Salieri fails miserably with a takedown attempt. White misses with a straight left. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White scores with a nice body kick.
Salieri throws a jab when White was well out of range. White was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Freddy White seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fighters circle momentarily. Salieri darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. White feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Salieri's calf.
And that's the end of the fight! Freddy White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think White has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
