Xyd lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lopez will be OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Behnder tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blackard was well out of range. Poor timing from Behnder.
Behnder looks to throw a body kick
and Blackard counters with a takedown into side control.
Behnder is looking for a sweep.

Blackard is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Behnder has escaped the position, nice work there.
Blackard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Behnder is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Behnder can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nti creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Harper's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Harper drops to his knees and Nti pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
