The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vazquez throws a counter combo.
Vazquez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diaz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vazquez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vazquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vazquez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vazquez throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diaz is defended easily by Vazquez.

Takahashi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mcgregor swivels and escapes.
Mcgregor's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mcgregor duly obliges.
Mcgregor throws a lazy right hand but Takahashi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Takahashi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcgregor did well to prevent Takahashi getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

After the fight, Hiro Takahashi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Slayer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shklyarskiy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shklyarskiy lands a nice looking body shot.
Shklyarskiy works over Slayer's head and body with a nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shklyarskiy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Slayer.
Shklyarskiy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slayer's hands.
It looks like Shklyarskiy has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Slayer throws a body shot but no joy.
Nice shot lands for Slayer.
Slayer catches Shklyarskiy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Shklyarskiy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Shklyarskiy lands a hook that stumbles Slayer back into the cage. Shklyarskiy follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Slayer to the canvas! Shklyarskiy pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Slayer has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Watson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Watson manages to end up in side control.
Selmy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Watson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Watson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Selmy is looking to regain half guard here but Watson keeps moving and retains side control.
Selmy can't do much from the bottom here.

Selmy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Watson off and has taken his back!
