The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vlay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barrera pinned against the cage. Barrera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Vlay closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barrera circles away. Vlay dodges the punch combination from Barrera.
Vlay shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barrera napping and manages to drive through into side control! Barrera tries to improve position but can't. Vlay tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vlay has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Barrera defending against the ground and pound. Barrera is looking to reverse the position. Vlay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Barrera avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Vlay. Vlay is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Barrera has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barrera manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Vlay wants to improve his position but Barrera is controlling well.
Barrera looks to land a strike but Vlay avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Barrera postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Barrera wants to pass the guard but Vlay is keeping the position. Vlay preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Barrera prevents Vlay from getting back to his feet. Vlay wants to sweep here but Barrera controlling him for the moment. Barrera lands a couple of elbows. Vlay utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Barrera has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Barrera preventing the sweep. Vlay keeping full guard, as Barrera tries to pass. Vlay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barrera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Vlay controls Barrera momentarily but Barrera frees himself. Barrera looking to pass the guard. Barrera postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Vlay shoots for a takedown but Barrera saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gabino Barrera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Vlay. Barrera defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vlay. Gabino Barrera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marco Vlay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barrera throws a series of punches but Vlay moves out of range. Some wild striking there from Barrera.

Barrera tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Vlay looks for a takedown but Barrera sprawls well. Vlay turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Barrera is breathing heavily. Barrera lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
No luck for Vlay with that takedown attempt. Vlay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Barrera. Vlay fails to land the takedown. Nice uppercut there from Barrera. Vlay takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabino Barrera dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Vlay tries to land a front kick but Barrera steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Vlay slips a jab from Barrera. Barrera lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vlay circles away quickly and effectively. Vlay blocks a head kick by Barrera.
Vlay shoots in but no luck this time. Vlay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barrera pinned against the cage. Barrera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Vlay. Gabino Barrera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Vlay. It looks like Marco Vlay has been cut. Barrera throws a nice looking combination but Vlay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Barrera looks to land a combination. Vlay sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Vlay tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barrera swivels and escapes. Vlay is breathing heavily. Barrera tries to bum rush Vlay with a series of wild strikes but Vlay uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vlay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barrera but Barrera pushes him off and we're back to square one. Barrera misses with the combination.

Vlay moves into the clinch. Barrera is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vlay is defending well for now. Vlay manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Barrera does no damage. Nice takedown defense from Barrera. No joy for Vlay on that attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vlay dodges the punch combination from Barrera.
Gabino Barrera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Barrera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vlay throws a leg kick which misses Barrera's front leg but catches the back leg as Barrera tries to avoid it. Vlay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Barrera misses its intended target. Barrera looks to land a combination but Vlay avoids it well. Barrera gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vlay to score an easy takedown into full guard. Vlay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barrera swivels though and keeps the full guard. Vlay drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Vlay as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Barrera screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Vlay! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! datass shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Krow's guard. Krow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Krow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and datass defends well. datass throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krow works some decent striking defense from the bottom. datass trying to control the position from guard on top but Krow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. datass trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. datass is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. datass drops back, looking for a kneebar! Krow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Krow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Krow! datass tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Krow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Krow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Krow trying to control but datass is working from the bottom. datass keeping full guard, as Krow tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from datass is defended easily by Krow. datass shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Krow is trying to defend but datass finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bildt moves into full mount! Hell won't be happy about that! Stanner Bildt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bildt is trying desperately to improve position. Daymon Hell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bildt blocking the ground and pound. Hell has hold of Bildt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bildt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bildt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Steel pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Reiplinger wants to sweep here but Steel controlling him for the moment. Reiplinger looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Steel passes into side control.
Steel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Rap Reiplinger will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

John Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Reiplinger seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Rap Reiplinger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Reiplinger wants to sweep but no luck.
