The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinyuk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Geishammer. Martinyuk swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Geishammer misses the shot to the body. Geishammer throws a lazy head kick enabling Martinyuk to counter with a crisp jab. Martinyuk slips a jab from Geishammer. Geishammer misses with a double jab
letting Martinyuk counter with a right hand. Martinyuk steps in with a hook that catches Geishammer right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Martinyuk follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Geishammer looks absolutely devastated.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nawai is looking to clinch. Good shot there by Volkov. Nawai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nawai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Volkov, pushing him back against the ropes. Volkov misses with the head strike.
Nawai misses with a hook from the clinch. Volkov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nawai lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Volkov backwards. Volkov misses with a punch to the body.
Volkov throws a punch but it's blocked by Nawai. Volkov throws a head punch that misses. A head punch blocked on the inside by Nawai. Nawai lands a right hand that snaps the head of Volkov backwards. Nawai throws a head punch that misses. Volkov has a couple of punches blocked by Nawai.
Nawai has Volkov pressed against the ropes, preventing Volkov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A head punch blocked on the inside by Nawai. Nawai is working Volkov over against the ropes. Volkov is breathing heavily. Nawai scores with a shoulder strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nawai lands with a short head shot on the inside. Nawai drops Volkov onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Volkov is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Apolosi Nawai! Apolosi Nawai spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A swing and a miss from Steele. Silva misses with a hook. Steele ducked under it nicely. Steele throws a left and a right that both miss
and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Silva lands with a punch from half guard. Silva sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steele defending well though. Steele knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground. Steele is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Steele avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Silva. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steele is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Silva with the ground and pound but Steele uses the opportunity to regain guard. Silva distracts Steele with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
It looks like Stanley Steele has been cut. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Steele throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Steele looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely. Steele cracks Silva with a right hand to the side of the head. Steele lands with a good body shot. Steele misses with a wild combination.

And Silva tries to counter it with a takedown but Steele pushes his down on his head and steps out. Steele lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Steele moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Silva is rocked! Steele comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Steele looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range. Silva tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Steele stalks Silva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silva's face. Silva staggers backwards, shaken. Steele throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely. Silva is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Silva finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the ropes, ducking and weaving under Steele's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Silva falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

A very excited looking Stanley Steele made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorvaldsson throws a lazy right hand but Fury sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fury slips a jab from Thorvaldsson. Thorvaldsson throws the left hand but Fury avoids the punch easily. Fury feinted with a counter takedown. Thorvaldsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fury. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fury. Fury advances to full mount. Fury looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Thorvaldsson is squirming around, avoiding Fury's attempts to control the action. Fury is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Thorvaldsson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Thorvaldsson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Fury anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Thorvaldsson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Fury slips an arm under Thorvaldsson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Fury has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Fury is squeezing on Thorvaldsson like an anaconda would it's prey. Thorvaldsson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bob Fury! Our winner, Bob Fury, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Boone misses with a looping right. Poli is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Boone with a body shot. Poli scores with the left hand. Boone knows he should have avoided that one.

Oh Boone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Poli has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Poli fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Boone to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Boone looks to clinch but Poli throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Boone taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Golovkin cracks a nice hook into Al Jhit's ribs. Al Jhit misses with a takedown attempt and Golovkin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Al Jhit scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Al Jhit takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Al Jhit fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Golovkin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Al Jhit stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A left lands for Al Jhit. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Al Jhit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
