We've been told by Nakamotto's head coaches at Doherty's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Lydon cracks a nice hook into Nakamotto's ribs. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zamora has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zamora there as he acknowledges the shot. Blaze throws a shot from downtown. Zamora moves away and avoids it. Blaze throws a big shot that misses. Zamora tries to clinch up. Blaze lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Zamora doesn't manage to clinch there - Blaze circles away.
Zamora changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blaze tries to avoid it but Zamora manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blaze to the ground. Blaze escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Blaze clobbers Zamora with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Blaze slips under a jab. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Blaze.

Wall shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Half Assed throws out a loose jab but Wall uses good head movement to avoid it. Wall feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
