Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruston Cohle (ranked 7473 p4p, 578 weight class) and Raphael Hide (ranked 4428 p4p, 467 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cohle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Raining Blood. Hide is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nightwish. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Raphael Hide enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hide throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
It looked like Cohle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Hide looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hide stuffs the takedown attempt from Cohle. Cohle gets slowly back to his feet.
Cohle seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Cohle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hide as he jumps to the side.
Hide tests Cohle's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Hide counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruston Cohle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cohle shoots in looking for a takedown. Hide tries to sprawl out of it but Cohle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hide manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooh!!! Hide has knocked Cohle down with a huge combo! Hide steps away and waves a wobbly Cohle back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hide lands a big right hand that sends Cohle crashing to the mat! Hide stays standing though and waves Cohle back to his feet!
Oh Cohle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Hide engages and cracks Cohle with a massive lead left hook - Cohle tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Hide is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Raphael Hide tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Pearse is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
