Smith decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moritz moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Chi Li has been cut.

Li bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Li swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Moritz is now in Li's guard. A big mistake from Li there, giving up the dominant position!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moritz wanted to stand there but Li had control of the position.

Moritz stands up from Li's guard - Moritz perhaps looking for a knockout.
Moritz works the jab nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Moritz.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Moritz cracks Li with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Li looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Moritz finish him?

Mann is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nobis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nobis shrugs it off.

Peter Nobis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Nobis.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nobis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
