The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Steel Penn looks for a takedown but Mendes sprawls well. Mendes gets caught napping as Steel Penn dives in and scores a takedown. Mendes manages to retain guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Steel Penn (2) vs (0) Mendes Steel Penn wants to pass the guard but Mendes is keeping the position. Mendes seems keen to control Steel Penn's posture. Mendes wants to control position but Steel Penn is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Mendes here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.

Kishimoto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blye defends it easily. Kishimoto has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Blye should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kishimoto has tightened it up now! Blye should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
