Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 2001 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eon Yaj (ranked 2176 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by The Pretender. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Morrison Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Eon Yaj! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Yaj closes the distance and clinches. Yaj has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lee avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Yaj after a bit of a struggle. Yaj is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Yaj wants to take the fight to the mat but Lee manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Morrison Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eon Yaj. Yaj gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.
